The idea
A protocol needs a curve, not two points.
At the Villa we work with two deep measurements. The VISIA Gen 7 skin analysis with TruSkin Age shows where the skin stands. The epigenetic analysis shows what is working against it from within. Both are precise, and both are rare.
In between lie the months where everything is decided: sleep, recovery, strain, regeneration. Measure only twice a year and you see a result at the end, but not the path there. And you can correct nothing along the way.
The Even R1 is our answer to that. A ring of zirconia ceramic, worn at night and forgotten during the day. It measures continuously the values that mean something between appointments, and turns them into a curve instead of two points.

01 · Heart rate
The resting value, not the moment.
One measurement during the day says little. The resting pulse averaged over the night says a great deal: it rises before you notice yourself that something was too much.
02 · Heart rate variability
The most honest value for recovery.
The fine interval between two beats. It is high when the body has reserves and low when it is working. For planning a series it matters more than any feeling.
03 · Blood oxygen
Measured with red light.
The manufacturer names blood oxygen as one of the values the ring records across the day. Seen over weeks it shows how calm the nights really are.
04 · Skin temperature
Your line, not the norm.
The absolute value is of no interest. The deviation from your own average over recent nights is: it responds early to strain, cycle and recovery.
05 · Sleep
Duration and phases, every night.
No button, no entry. The ring recognises when you fall asleep and divides the night into phases. Over a month that becomes a pattern, over a year a statement.

Do I need the glasses for the ring to work?
No. The Even R1 measures on its own and needs only your phone. Controlling the Even G2 is an additional function for those who wear both.
What does the ring cost?
The ring on its own costs CHF 269, including the magnetic charging station, available at AI Eyewear Zurich in the same house. Villa R1 Start additionally contains sizing, set-up, the 60-minute longevity consultation and the follow-up. We define the scope in the consultation.
Am I paying for the ring or for the accompaniment?
For the accompaniment. The ring is part of the programme; the service is what is read from it: baseline, longevity appointment, recommendations, follow-up.
How do I find my size?
In the house, with a sizing set to try on. Ordering a size by feel almost always goes wrong.
Do I have to wear it at night?
The meaningful values come from sleep: resting pulse, heart rate variability, temperature deviation. During the day you can wear it or take it off.
How long does the battery last?
Up to four days according to the manufacturer. Charged on the magnetic charging station supplied.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Yes. The ring is rated IP68.
Who sees my values?
You. The data lives in your app. If you wish, we look at it together at the progress check. We store none of it.
