The full description

timeblock NUTRITION is the original product of the house and the reason timeblock exists at all. Two capsules a day, one in the morning marked DAY, one in the evening marked NIGHT. The split is not marketing but an attempt to match the composition to the course of the day: one mixture in the morning, the other in the evening.

The formulation is plant-based, a concentrated extract from six sources: white tea from the leaf tips of green tea, grape seed extract, barley grass, wheat grass, shiitake and tagetes. Concentrates of this kind are an attempt to provide an amount of secondary plant substances that would otherwise require a great deal of vegetables and tea every day.

In practice it is the product for anyone who does not want ten tins in the cupboard. One thing, two capsules, every day, over months. The two-month pack is the trial; the six- and twelve-month packs are for those who have decided. It becomes meaningful not in the first week but over time.

The Sirtfood®Shot is one 25 ml vial a day, thirty of them in a monthly box. It is best taken at the same time of day, because a course is only a course when it does not depend on remembering.

The formulation lists green tea leaf extract, nicotinamide riboside chloride, mango extract, apple bark extract, blueberry, olive leaf and broccoli seed, plus zinc gluconate and cholecalciferol. Nicotinamide riboside is a form of vitamin B3 and among the substances most written about in longevity research. The shot is sweetened with erythritol and steviol glycosides, so it contains no sugar.

collagenmax is a drinkable course of thirty 25 ml vials, 750 ml per box. Unlike most products in this category it does not work with animal collagen but with a plant-based alternative: glycine, L-proline and L-alanine are the amino acids from which collagen is built in the body, together with gotu kola extract and vitamin C.

Added to that are sour cherry and blueberry juice concentrate, kale juice powder, green tea leaf extract, zinc gluconate, calcium D-pantothenate, niacinamide, copper gluconate and cholecalciferol. It is sweetened with xylitol. For clients who eat a vegan diet or avoid animal collagen for other reasons, that is the decisive difference from almost everything else on the shelf.

The starting point is fermented soy extract with equol. Equol is formed from daidzein, an isoflavone of the soybean, and is produced during fermentation outside the body, because not everyone can form it themselves. VI-OFFENCIO is sixty capsules, one of them in the morning after breakfast with water. The formulation is a polyphenol concentrate with clearly declared amounts, which is rather the exception in this product group.

Each capsule contains 140 mg of grape skin extract with 7 mg of resveratrol, 140 mg of sage extract with 7 mg of polyphenols, 140 mg of onion extract with 7 mg of quercetin and 125 mg of green tea extract with 62.5 mg of EGCG and 0.8 mg of caffeine, plus 5.3 mg of zinc gluconate, 20 µg of vitamin D3 as well as elderberry and apple extract and methylfolate. Resveratrol, quercetin and EGCG are among the best-studied plant substances there are.

The ferment content is 83 per cent, unusually high for this product group. It is produced in Germany.

The base concentrate lists lemons, figs, dates, walnuts, soybeans, onions, coconuts, acerola, celery, mung sprouts, artichokes, peas, millet, turmeric and saffron. On top of that sits the Active X formulation with artichoke extract, dimethyl sulfone, olive leaf, cranberry and horsetail extract, plus choline, zinc, selenium and a B-vitamin complex as well as ginseng and ginger.

The organic bitter drops are an aqueous extract of ten plants and herbs in organic quality: artichoke, olive leaf, rosemary, thyme, echinacea, dandelion, ginger, lavender, gentian and chamomile. Organic glycerine serves as the carrier, so no alcohol is contained.

Bitter substances are inseparable from European herbal lore and have largely disappeared from our diet, because vegetables and salads have been bred for mild taste for decades. Gentian and dandelion are among the most classic representatives of this group, artichoke and olive leaf among the most frequently used.

It is taken as five drops three times a day, undiluted, after a meal. The taste is distinctly bitter, and that is the point: bitter is tasted on the tongue, not in a capsule. The process behind it is called cascade fermentation and is patented. The ferment content, at 30 per cent, is lower than in the Bio, but built around it is what otherwise stands in several tins: 13 vitamins, 10 minerals, 42 herbs and spices and six superfoods, among them manuka honey, reishi, sea buckthorn, kombucha, açaí and aronia.

The dose is correspondingly small: once a day 10 ml, stirred into 40 to 100 ml of water. A bottle therefore lasts around 35 days, which makes Complete the least expensive product of the range per day. For children aged three to twelve the manufacturer states 5 ml with a meal.

Complete also comes as a shot format with twenty 20 ml vials, practical for travel and for anyone who would rather not carry a 350 ml bottle around. For most of our clients Complete is the sensible entry and Bio the continuation.

The full description

Regulatpro® Immune has the second highest ferment content of the range at 90 per cent; only the Bio is above it. It is supplemented with vitamin D3, vitamin K1, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, zinc and selenium, plus ginger juice, turmeric and saffron.

The dosage differs from the other products: once a day 20 ml instead of twice 10 ml. A bottle therefore lasts around 17 days. Immune also comes as a shot format with twenty 20 ml vials.

We carry it above all for the darker half of the year, the months in which many people have their vitamin D supply in mind anyway. As with all products of this kind: it replaces no assessment, and if you want to know your values, have them measured rather than estimated.

Regulatpro® Arthro is the most elaborate formulation of the range. The ferment content is 50 per cent; on top of it sit 12.5 per cent collagen, 1.5 per cent glucosamine, 0.75 per cent dimethyl sulfone, 0.5 per cent glucuronolactone and 0.15 per cent hyaluronic acid, plus vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, copper and selenium.

The intake is two-stage and unusual: for the first five weeks 40 ml a day, that is twice 20 ml undiluted, thereafter 20 ml a day. That is built deliberately and not arbitrary; a bottle accordingly lasts a shorter time in the initial phase.

Two notes belong with it. The glucosamine comes from crustaceans, which makes the product unsuitable for people with a shellfish allergy. And the collagen is of animal origin, unlike in the Beauty Drink Collagen and in timeblock collagenmax.

The Fermented Drink cherry + ginger with manuka honey is the most approachable bottle of the range. The ferment content is 70 per cent; on top of it sit mango juice concentrate, 4 per cent manuka honey, 3 per cent ginger juice and 2 per cent cherry juice concentrate, plus pear and blueberry.

That is a difference you actually taste. Anyone who cannot get on with the sour base taste of the Bio drinks this bottle without effort: fruity, with a distinct ginger heat in the finish and the typical sweetness of manuka honey.

Scarsystem is a combination pack of two parts: a cryo massage roller and a scar gel with a roll-on applicator. The roller is used chilled, the gel then applied thinly. The two belong together, because the application consists of massage and care rather than either on its own.

Besides the film formers alcohol and acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymer, the gel contains UV filters, among them diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate and octocrylene, plus emollients, vitamin E and equol. The UV protection is the reason the product is built this way: fresh scars are sensitive to sun, and that holds regardless of what other care is used.

We carry it as an aftercare product, above all following treatments with the LaseMD Ultra and the Stellar M22. How long and how often you use it depends on the scar; we discuss that at the follow-up. With fresh wounds and anything that belongs in a medical assessment, the assessment comes first.

This serum is the second step of the KeraLase treatment we offer at Zeltweg 74. In the practice we apply it immediately after the LaseMD Ultra has set fine channels into the outermost horny layer of the scalp. At home you apply the same formulation daily, and that is precisely the point: in the study the figures for this procedure come from, every participant additionally used the serum daily, across the twelve weeks of treatment and the six months that followed.

According to the manufacturer it contains seven polypeptides modelled on selected growth factors and skin proteins: sh-Oligopeptide-1 and sh-Oligopeptide-4, sh-Polypeptide-1, -7, -9, -11 and -71, plus Copper Tripeptide-1. The prefix sh stands for synthetic human. These peptides are made biotechnologically; they come neither from people nor from animals. Added to those are niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, arginine, curcumin and tetrahydrocurcumin. The actives are wrapped in nanoliposomes, intended to ease the way through the horny layer.

One dropper daily on the areas in question, morning or evening, massaged in with the fingertips. Do not rinse out. Fifty millilitres last roughly a month, depending on the area. It is a cosmetic product and not a medicine: it does not intervene in your hormones and replaces nothing that was prescribed to you. It is not intended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for people under eighteen, or on inflamed or broken scalp.

With thinning hair, washing is not a side issue. The scalp carries sebum, residue from styling products and dead horny cells; whatever stays behind makes it harder for any active to arrive at all. This pair is therefore less a shampoo than a scalp treatment you leave on briefly.

According to the manufacturer it contains eight bioactive peptides and VEGF, plus arginine, caffeine, niacinamide, adenosine, curcumin, silk amino acids and menthol. You notice the menthol: the scalp feels cool and awake afterwards. One hundred millilitres each, enough for up to forty washes according to the manufacturer.

Apply a pea-sized amount, lather, massage into the scalp and leave on for one minute before rinsing. If your hair is thick or long, wash first with your usual shampoo and use this afterwards as a scalp treatment. The conditioner goes on the lengths, not on the scalp.

The Even G2 is a pair of glasses with a display in the lens. The frame is magnesium, the temples titanium, and the whole weighs 35 grams, about as much as an ordinary frame. Shape A is the Crown Panto, the classic rounded line, available in grey, brown and green.

The display is monochrome green, uses micro-LED at 640 × 350, is holographic and binocular, and is visible only to the wearer. From the outside nothing shows. The glasses deliberately have no camera, which in a restaurant or a meeting is the decisive difference from other devices of this kind.

Prescription lenses are available as UltraFit, from CHF 169 single vision and from CHF 799 progressive, matched to the display. The difference is purely in the design, and it is not small. The rectangular line reads as more matter-of-fact and often sits better on angular faces, while shape A softens and balances. Anyone who has never seen the two side by side regularly underestimates the difference.

The Even R1 is a measuring ring in zirconium oxide ceramic with an anti-fingerprint coating and stainless steel inside. According to the manufacturer it records heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, temperature and activity across the day, and sleep stages and sleep quality at night.

The battery lasts up to four days according to the manufacturer and is charged on the magnetic station supplied. Rated IP68, it is splash proof and can be worn under water for a while. The ring comes in several sizes; we determine the right one in the house with a sizing set, because ordering a size by feel almost always goes wrong.

Anyone also wearing the Even G2 controls it through the surface of the ring, by tapping and swiping, without picking up the phone. The ring works independently, however, and does not need the glasses. What we make of it at the Villa is described under Even R1: the ring is a device for everyday life and not a medical device, the values are an orientation and not a finding, and we never read them on their own but always as a progression alongside your skin analysis.
