Qualification
Responsibility for every treatment lies with Nicola M. Mössner: skin expert with over 15 years of experience, Swiss diploma naturopath TEN, studies at the Paracelsus Academy in Zurich, further training at the NHK Institute Zurich with a focus on biological medicine, plus specialised laser training in Zurich, Zug and Baar covering laser technologies and skin applications, in theory and in practice.
V-NISSG certificate of competence
In Switzerland, applications using laser and intense pulsed light fall under the ordinance on protection against hazards from non-ionising radiation and sound. Our certificate of competence for skin and pigmentation was issued by the Swiss Society for Medical Cosmetics in Baar and is registered in the ePortal NISSG of the Federal Office of Public Health.
Devices
We work exclusively with certified medical technology: LaseMD Ultra (Lutronic), Stellar M22 (Lumenis), EMFACE (BTL), Healite II, VISIA Gen 7 (Canfield) and CellGym IHHT. For each device we hold the declaration of conformity, the operating manual, manufacturer training and maintenance records.
Protocols and documentation
Every treatment follows a written protocol: history, contraindications, Fitzpatrick skin type, parameters, course and aftercare. Before the first application with energy we carry out a test spot on sensitive skin. The VISIA progress measurement documents results objectively.
Hygiene
Surface and hand disinfection to standard, single-use material where sensible, reprocessing according to manufacturer instructions, separate areas for clean and used items, protective eyewear for the person treated and the person treating during every laser application.
Where our limit lies
We make no medical diagnoses and carry out no medical therapies. Conspicuous moles, suspected skin conditions or unclear changes belong in medical hands. We say so openly and refer you on directly, even when that costs us an appointment. What can happen during a treatment is set out under risks and side effects.
